The tannins and acidity in this wine are deliciously balanced. Expect aromas of Graphite, Cedar, and Eucalyptus although dark fruit dominates, with flavors of Black Cherry, Plum, and Blackberry. Nuanced hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and toast tones.

This wine would pair well with a nice juicy steak, simply seasoned with salt and pepper, lamb skewers, or a nice Charcuterie plate. For a treat, try it with a juicy cheeseburger.

Green pepper and plums dominate, but raspberry and blackcurrant notes, along with nice spicy aromas are aligned with a smooth texture that makes this medium-bodied wine one to savor.

Pair this wine with lean meats with tomato or spicy sauces. Filet Mignon with mushroom gravy, or even Tandoori Chicken. This would also go well with a nice vegetarian Ratatouille.

Although this wine has seen a lot of oak, it is not an “oaky” chardonnay, in the traditional sense. It is creamy with a full body. Big Vanilla and custard notes are paired with ripe pair, tropical fruit and lemons. The fruit really shines, but the oak component helps to give a nice complexity and long finish.

Pair this with a nice halibut steak with butter and lemon sauce, or a baked chicken with Tarragon.

Pair this wine with anything lemon. Chicken piccata with a lemon sauce, or pretty much any seafood dish.

Intense “blue notes” - blackberries, mulberries, as well as raspberries. There are tobacco, plums, and cocoa notes as well.

This would pair well with full-flavored meats, like game, chorizo, grilled meats prepared with herbs, and even roast lamb.
