Although this wine has seen a lot of oak, it is not an “oaky” chardonnay, in the traditional sense. It is creamy with a full body. Big Vanilla and custard notes are paired with ripe pair, tropical fruit and lemons. The fruit really shines, but the oak component helps to give a nice complexity and long finish.

Pair this with a nice halibut steak with butter and lemon sauce, or a baked chicken with Tarragon.

Nicely elegant with an intensity of flavor. Not massive or powerful like a Big Cabernet, it has pleasant, soft fruit with silky tannins and texture.
